Jaipur: Akshara Negi from Shimla has been crowned Miss Urvashi 2026 at the fifth season of the national-level beauty pageant, which concluded after a five-day competition at The Trade International Hotel on Ajmer Road, Jaipur.
Organized by Elite Production House, Miss Urvashi 2026 brought together contestants from different cities across India. The participants competed through multiple rounds designed to assess their confidence, personality, communication abilities, talent, creativity and stage presence.
Akshara Negi emerged as the title winner after delivering a strong performance across the competition. Her confidence, personality, communication skills and stage presence were among the aspects highlighted during the pageant.
Speaking about the event, organizer Virendra Agarwal said that platforms such as Miss Urvashi provide talented young women from different parts of the country with opportunities to showcase their abilities and develop their personalities and confidence. He said such platforms can also help emerging talent gain exposure in the fashion and beauty industry.
Miss Urvashi Director Rachna Chaudhary was involved in organizing the competition, guiding contestants and conducting training and grooming sessions throughout the event. The competition was conducted through a structured schedule covering preparation, rehearsals, competitive rounds and the final presentation.
The five-day pageant featured a range of activities, including grooming sessions, professional photoshoots, talent rounds, personality and communication sessions, fashion and stage rounds, rehearsals and the grand finale.
Contestants were evaluated on parameters including confidence, personality, communication skills, talent, creativity, stage presence and overall performance. The judging panel included Ritika Chaudhary, a former Miss Urvashi winner, Utkarsha and Mamta Kheechi, who assessed contestants during the different stages of the competition.
Along with the main title, several other crowns and positions were announced at the grand finale. Kirti Rastogi from Meerut was named Miss Urvashi International Winner 2026, while Swati Nayak from Jaipur received the Miss Urvashi Rajasthan 2026 title.
Priya Maurya from Lucknow was named the First Runner-Up, while Anjana Yadav from Noida secured the position of Second Runner-Up.
The organizers said the primary objective of Miss Urvashi is to provide aspiring young women from across India with a platform to showcase their talent, personality, confidence and creativity. The pageant also seeks to provide emerging participants with exposure and opportunities connected with the fashion and beauty industry.
With the conclusion of Season 5, Miss Urvashi 2026 added another edition to the pageant's efforts to bring together aspiring talent from different parts of the country. The Jaipur event combined grooming, talent development, fashion presentation and competitive performance as contestants progressed toward the final titles.
