Sangram Singh Becomes Brand Ambassador of Gir Veggies in Mumbai
MMA fighter Sangram Singh joins the organic mission as brand ambassador for Gir Veggies, a new chemical-free fruits and vegetables brand launched in Mumbai by Gujarat farmer Shailesh Jariya.
Mumbai: Amid rising concerns over food adulteration and the harmful effects of chemical pesticides, a new initiative aimed at bringing pure, chemical-free produce to urban homes was launched in Mumbai on Monday. Gujarat-based farmer-entrepreneur Shailesh Jariya introduced his organic brand ‘Gir Veggies’, with Indian MMA fighter and actor Sangram Singh stepping in as the brand ambassador.
The launch event, held in Mumbai, was presented not just as a business venture but as a larger responsibility towards public health. Shailesh Jariya shared that the idea for Gir Veggies was born from his personal worries while shopping for fruits and vegetables in the market.
“Whenever I went to the market to buy fruits and vegetables, a question always came to my mind — are we buying food or something that slowly acts like poison? That thought inspired me to promote organic farming,” Jariya explained.
The organic produce comes from ‘Shaileshbhai Ni Wadi’, his farm located in Amrapur Gir village in Junagadh district of Gujarat. The farm follows completely natural farming practices with zero use of harmful chemicals. The brand’s core mission is to deliver fresh, farm-to-home organic fruits and vegetables directly to consumers, ensuring maximum freshness and purity.
