Mumbai: Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has expanded his footprint in the exhibition sector with the launch of his premium multiplex brand, Devgn CineX, in Thane. The new property, inaugurated on March 18, 2026, at The Walk in Hiranandani Estate’s Bellona Tower, aims to redefine the movie-going experience by combining advanced technology with luxury-driven design.

Positioned as a next-generation cinema destination, the multiplex features five state-of-the-art screens with a total seating capacity of approximately 953 viewers. The highlight of the facility is the “Amor” auditorium, an exclusive all-recliner hall designed to maximize comfort and elevate viewing pleasure.

One of the key attractions is the integration of Buttkicker motion seat technology, which synchronizes seat vibrations with on-screen action. This immersive feature allows audiences to physically experience cinematic moments, transforming traditional viewing into a multi-sensory engagement.

The multiplex officially opened to the public on March 19 with the screening of Dhurandhar The Revenge, adding to the excitement among moviegoers eager to explore the enhanced experience offered by the venue.

Previously operating under the name NY Cinemas, the brand has now evolved into Devgn CineX and currently manages 57 screens across 19 locations, including major cities such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Gurugram.
