We were cordial with each other but not used to working around each other. But of course, as our characters had progressed, we had to establish that bond from the first scene we met.”

She was quick to praise Rohit’s professionalism and seamless entry into the role. “He weaved into the character of Armaan so smoothly. I remember even telling him that he is very apt for the character of Armaan,” Samridhii shared. “And then we had shot this musical video, and the photos were also pretty amazing.”

Rohit Purohit, on the other hand, remembered feeling instantly comfortable with his co-star. “I remember this photoshoot so well, as I had just joined the show. After shooting the Holi sequence, we shot the song, and the pictures were clicked. I was very new in the show, and with Samridhii too, I had not shot much,” he recalled.

“Right from the first song, I was very comfortable with her. She is talented and professional, so there was no awkwardness,” Rohit added warmly. “It was a big change for her, but for me it was a new show, and I got comfortable with the cast and Abhira. It was a fun shoot. People loved the pics, and from then on, they liked us.”

The first photoshoot together marked the beginning of a beautiful on-screen journey for Abhimaan. For viewers, it was also the moment when they started accepting Rohit as the new Armaan and showered the fresh pairing with immense love and support.
