Shehzad Sheikh Draws from Real Hotel Management Background for Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan Role
Actor Shehzad Sheikh, a hotel management graduate from Taj Institute Aurangabad, brings real-life experiences to his role as hotelier Shlok in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan. He calls it an honour to work with the producers.
Mumbai, March 2026 – Actor Shehzad Sheikh has stepped into a new and interesting role in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s upcoming show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan, produced under their banner Dreamiyata Entertainment. Shehzad is essaying the character of Shlok, a hotelier, and has revealed that he is drawing heavily from his own real-life background to bring authenticity to the part.
Sharing a lesser-known fact about his education, Shehzad said, “Many people don’t know that in real life I have done Honours Graduation in Hotel Management from Taj Institute, Aurangabad. And just like in real life, my reel-life character is also a hotelier. He too is going through all the ups and downs that all professionals in the hospitality industry have to go through.”
With very little time to prepare for the role, the actor relied on his personal experiences rather than conventional research. “I did not get any time to prepare or prepare myself for this role. I had to rely on my real life experiences, and hence, if you have lived your life well, that always comes in handy,” he shared.
