"My Family and Roots Keep Me Grounded": Neha Harsora Reflects on Her Television Journey
Actress Neha Harsora, who has been winning hearts with her portrayal of Sailee in Udne Ki Aasha, has opened up about her journey in the entertainment industry, the challenges she has faced, and the values that continue to shape her both personally and professionally. Reflecting on her career, Neha shared that acting was never part of her original life plan, but over time it became a passion she genuinely embraced.
Looking back on how her journey began, Neha revealed that she never initially imagined herself pursuing acting as a profession. However, as she explored the craft, she discovered a deep appreciation for storytelling and the opportunity to connect with audiences through meaningful characters.
“Acting wasn’t something I had planned from the beginning. But somewhere along the journey, I realised I genuinely enjoyed the craft and connecting with people through characters,” she said.
Like many artists, Neha admitted that her career has also been marked by moments of uncertainty and self-reflection. She believes self-doubt is a natural part of every actor's journey and something that almost every performer experiences at different stages of their career.
“There are moments when you question yourself and wonder if you’re good enough. Every actor goes through self-doubt at some point,” she shared.
Despite these challenges, Neha says she found the strength to keep moving forward through the unwavering support of her family and her own determination. She credits her loved ones for constantly encouraging her during difficult phases and helping her remain focused on her dreams.
“Family support and self-belief helped me move forward. I kept reminding myself why I started,” she said.
Speaking about her experience working on Udne Ki Aasha, Neha described the daily television format as one of the biggest learning experiences of her career. According to her, portraying Sailee has taught her valuable lessons in discipline, consistency, and emotional commitment, even while managing demanding shooting schedules.
“Working on a daily show teaches you discipline, consistency, and how to stay emotionally connected to your character despite hectic schedules,” she explained.
With Udne Ki Aasha earning appreciation from audiences, Neha's popularity has steadily grown. However, she says success has never changed her outlook on life. Remaining deeply connected to her upbringing continues to be her greatest source of strength and balance.
“My family keeps me grounded. I come from a rooted background, and no matter what happens professionally, I always go back to my family, my roots, and my real self,” she concluded.
As her journey in television continues to flourish, Neha Harsora remains committed to growing as an actor while staying true to the values that define her. With humility, perseverance, and strong family support guiding her path, she hopes to continue connecting with audiences through authentic performances and meaningful storytelling.
