Mumbai, March 2026 – Actor Shehzad Shaikh has joined the cast of the upcoming show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by popular couple Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their banner Dreamiyata Entertainment. Shehzad will be seen essaying the role of Shlok, a hotelier, in a character that interestingly mirrors aspects of his own real-life background.
Sharing details about the role, Shehzad revealed a lesser-known fact about his educational qualification. “Not many people know that I am an honours graduate in hotel management from the Taj Institute in Aurangabad,” he said. “So, in a way, my reel life is reflecting my real life, as my character is also a hotelier. He goes through the kind of challenges and pressures that professionals in the hospitality industry often face.”
With limited time to prepare for the role, Shehzad has leaned heavily on his personal experiences to bring authenticity to Shlok. “There wasn’t enough time for preparation, so I’ve had to rely heavily on my personal experiences. That’s when you realise how much a life well lived can help as an actor,” he shared thoughtfully.
